This is a short story I wrote a few years ago that I really wanted to be able to publish but didn't want to for the longest time. The story is a little slow but I put a of time into it but isn't by any means my best work. I took inspiration from the movie Psycho with this so there are a lot of cringey Easter Eggs in there. Synopsis: Rob and his family flee their normal lives in Las Vegas Nevada for the small town of Fairvale, California. There, they encounter a boy named Tony who has a dark secret he hides from everyone.

Everyone thinks that when you live in a hospital, live ends, but it's just the opposite, life begins. Most people think teenagers who live in a hospital can't find love, but they're wrong. This is the story of a cancer boy and self-conscious girl who fall in love despite their physical and mental conditions, defying the myth that hospital kids can't find love.

With the danger of their meds wearing off and leaving them open to depression, suicidal thoughts and even turning on each other, the boys must find a way to escape and find out what happened on the outside before it's too late.

After feeling as if he has doing his job wrong, Phil starts working in a Long‑term care hospital so he can better care for his patients. He never expected he would care about them as much as he does. So this is my first time writing an actual story ok so give me some credit, also it's based off a person's real life experience they have me permission to write about it, and it's a story about a male nurse at a mental hospital who falls in love with a patient of theirs who isn't mental but was sent their because she tried to end her life cuz she was depressed and had old trauma.
