Brooklyn Praxton used to be a sweetheart. With the cute pigtails hanging loosely on her head and her church dress bouncing when she walked, but that was six year old Brooklyn. Ten years later Brooklyn blossomed into a beautiful long haired brunette, curves of an hour glass, and skin that felt and looked like silk. Brooklyn soon realized that she was changing. She looked older and more grown up, like her mother. Brooklyn began to use her looks to her advantage. Brooklyn's looks plus her father's famousness gave her a big chance to get whatever she wants. Brooklyn thought everything was going great until her dad announced that he was marrying a lady and that they needed to move to Bloomington, Texas as soon as possible so that they could begin to arrange the wedding. Will Brooklyn continue to act like a stuck up girl or will she be the new cowgirl in Texas.

I was walking to my locker when I heard someone calling for somebody. "Hey! Little cutie!" They called. I kept waking, since no one noticed me and I doubted that it would've started then. It was a hallway full of cute girls, all of them much cuter than me, so why would they be calling for me? They whistled. "Shortie with the ponytail!" They called, their voice now closer to me. I still kept walking to my locker since there were still several other girls, who were taller than me but still relatively short, wearing ponytails. I felt a light tap on my shoulder once I got to my locker. I turned around and my breath caught in my throat at who was talking to me. Maximus King. The hottest guy in all of Hillside High. With his jet black hair that was always messy but still looked amazing, his steel grey eyes that all the girls talked about, his sharp jawline that could cut someone, his tall, six-foot five inches form that towered over me, and his strong form that could easily take out pretty much all of the guys in school, he was what every girl looked for. He had a bit of a bad reputation, well, a lot of a bad reputation, but most girls didn't care about that. I cared, and was very afraid of him and all of his friends except for Xander. In fact, if he had a reputation of sleeping around, I think I would've avoided him like the plague. Good thing he only flirted with girls and never slept, kissed, or touched them. "Hey, shortie, I was talking to you," he said with his deep voice. I cleared my throat after a few seconds of me gaping at him. "S-sorry. I-I didn't k-know," I squeaked. He chuckled. "I even said 'shortie with the ponytail!' yet you still didn't know." I gulped. "That's cute," he said. Amethyst Stone, a short, four-foot eleven inches girl that Maximus King has taken an interest to. When? You'll find out. Why? He could tell you, but don't get your hopes up. Will it work out? Read if you really want to know. 12/21/18- 8/8/19- 12/27/20

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. The edited version of this book is being updated under the name "That's Inappropriate, Mr. King." Twenty-two-year-old Anna wonders if she will ever find her mate. After her brother suggests that she should go to her original pack and try her luck, she decides to move there and gets her first job as a high school teacher. She had dreamed about her mate for very long time, but when she finds him, he is nothing like she expected... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Mr. King, what can I help you with?" "Mate..." He growled... A conflicted look in his eyes. "I knew this would happen, but I told you, we have to wait-" He scoffed, interrupting me. "I Caleb King, re-" Now, I interrupted him... with a kiss. I know I should not be doing this, but I have been looking for him for so long and I just needed to do this... At least once. A real kiss with my mate. I expected him to pull away but he put his hands on my lower back and pulled me closer to him. I could feel sparks and a happiness and tranquility invaded my body. It just felt right and I wanted more, but I knew how this would end. I felt the tears running down my cheeks. I stepped back, interrupting the kiss. He whimpered a little bit and for a second I saw adoration in his eyes, but he pushed it back, giving me a blank stare. "I am sorry. I needed to do this. You can reject me now." He looked a little taken aback. "You were going to reject me. I just thought we both needed to experience this only once. You are the future Alpha, so I should not be the one to break the bond. Please do it now!" I do not why, but I wanted him to do it. After all, he was going to do it before and I did not want a kiss to change his mind. "I Caleb King, reject you Anna Amores as my mate." I think I could hear my heart break in that second. "I Anna Amores, accept your rejection, Alpha, and I wish the best for you, always." I gave him an honest smile... And he left, without looking back... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
