Depression takes many forms. Young girls, teenage boys, mothers and fathers, grandparents. It is not an easy thing to hide from when it is always there to push you down.

Valerie has had trouble dealing with everything bad that has happened to her until she meets the young boy Matthew who breaks her free from the dangerous trap she has been in for years.

Matt manages to save her but cannot escape from his own depression until Valerie finds a way to protect him from all the harm around them. They need each other more than either one of them know.
