Things have changed since her mother left though it's almost like they're strangers now and Ellie's not so sure that she suits the life of the famous with endless photo-shoots, balls, events and did we mention her Barbie-wannabe step-sister?
Ellie can't cope with everything. Everyone suddenly wants something from her and she doesn't even know what that something is but when bad boy Ryder King turns up maybe finally she can let her guard down. It's a bit hard to fall in love when she has a step-sister determined to seduce Ryder, a bunch of paparazzi, a snobby mother and a past that's coming back to haunt her.
