a story of a diverse love
qui troung is an orphan, waiting for her mom to come back for her. whenever a family tries to adopt her she 'acts' depressed, at least that's what her caretaker says. but qui's act makes families believe that she is ruined, broken. . but she's not like every orphan, depressed and longing to get out, in fact, she kind of likes it there, shes grown used to it, for it's the only real home she's had.

the fares family breaks a lot of sterotypes. they're a black, muslim, successful family. aashif fares is the owner of a soul food restaurant chain, he's married to adria pavia (now fare because, duh) ad they've had a venezuelan (also latin) american baby, and an adopted austrailian baby.

when the fares travel back home to rest for a while, stop traveling a little bit, they decide to adopt yet another child, preferably a girl, and bring her to go traveling around the us.

what happens when qui's eyes are opened to a new world?
