Be careful what you wish for, because it might just come true. Everyone has heard that before, but who would expect that situation to fall into their hands? Meet Ross Walters, a Kanto University graduate living in Rustboro City.

Being the son of a highly accomplished trainer, great expectations naturally falls onto him, but there is one small problem - He is not a trainer. And he doesn't intend to be one due to... certain reasons. One fateful night, he makes a wish upon a shooting star... a wish to be a better trainer. never would he think that it would change his life so radically.
