Hermione has been with Draco Malfoy for 3 years, so has Harry and Ginny, so has Ron and Cho.
After being with "just friends" with Draco, Hermione wants to take it to the next level, but doesn't want to rush things between her and the Slytherin Prince. As a new love between the two sprouts, who knows what could happen in there 6th year
