The tree may be planted in her back yard, but the branch hangs over into his. The birdhouse here holds more memories than any of the birds who made it their temporary home. It holds a special piece of both Jasmine's and Michael's hearts.

But this year, there are new students living down the hall; one of which, Violet recognizes as her childhood friend, Tenny. His presence reminds her of a life she tried to forget. Through trials and triumphs, Violet recalls her past: the good and the bad, and she realizes some things were never meant to stay buried.
