These are a series of letters I had to write for my history class. It's from the point of view of a soldier during World War I.
Bastien Delacroix is fighting for the French during World War I. He has left his little brother behind in an orphanage to save his country. He passes the time in the trenches by writing letters to his brother. But when things start to go downhill for the French during the Battle of Verdun, Bastien doesn't know if he'll make it home.

With war raging all around, some battles can't be won... β The year was 1916, Elosie Keller was dwelling in a secluded Belgian cottage where she remained hidden away from the world until the day he fell from the sky...
