Imogen Davis has spent most of her life reading an writing wattpad books as her only source of freedom and happiness. But that all changes when, after an embarrassing ordeal, she moves to another town to start a new life and actually make friends. And what's better is that these new friends happen to be just like the most wattpad girls she's read in books; The nerd The tomboy The golden girl. There friendship goes incredibly well and she finds herself drunk off the feeling of being wanted around. To her, she has everything she's ever wanted. Nothing can go wrong, right? Wrong. Soon, Imogen comes to realize that wattpad girls want to be with wattpad boys. And soon enough, slowly but surely, her friends drift away from her and she's left all alone again. And whatt is much worse is that they decide they want to start hanging out with a new girl, that happens to also be a wattpad girl. It comes to her as a shock, a slowly rising fear that seemed to, at the same time, hit her all at once; She's being replaced. She comes up with a desperate plan to find her very own wattpad boy. Much to her convenience, a jock joins the school and imogen decides that he's the only one that will complete her wattpad story. That is until she is paired with Shane Kings, the grumpy nerd that nobody likes who sits at the back of the class. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? **an improved version of Isolation - the same story but rewritten to be more mature, and a better read** Megan Hayes and Logan Brooks are your typical, rebellious teenagers that spend more time in the school isolation room than an actual classroom. Well, that's Logan anyway, who's so close to expulsion that even getting a bad score on a class quiz could get him thrown out. They both attend a private school in the small town which consists of rules stricter than a prison, and a bunch of stuck up pupils with IQ's higher than Albert Einstein's. When Megan ends up falling to sleep in class because of the previous late night she had watching 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' until 1am with her Mum, she gets dropped in an after school detention faster than you can say "oops". But who knew that sitting through a detention, and later in an isolated room with Logan could quite possibly make the school she despises actually worth going to. And who knew that in the 5 years of going to the school, the only person she actually becomes close with (and I mean really close) is the guy shooting paper spitballs at the teacher.Complete
