Mabel easily becomes popular with her personality and body, while Dipper hangs back and stays to himself as he always does. He assumes that this year is going to be moderately normal for Gravity Falls, without any trouble. 

Oh, but is it that hard to forget about the dream demon? Bill's back as well, and acts like a high school student to get to Dipper. Will Pine Tree admit his love for the demon, or is Bill going to have to do everything he can to get Dipper to fall in love with him.
