It literally took me about 2 hours mulling over what I would do for this contest's theme.
If I were to be quite honest with you all, I REALLY didn't want to do a Lorax thing for this contest, (and the Once-ler's character arc was already too canon for things lmao) but then this idea just... came up.
And it was too good and heartbreaking to pass up. Because the first thing I thought up when I saw the contest details was that, "DAMN I'm so gonna write about a Hero turned Villain! But I need an unconventional hero who doesn't really turn evil, just... someone who did something really awry and that in turn makes them the bad guy for doing it."
And so I wrote this short fic with a screaming heart because that idea was just perfect.
An AU where Ted... well... just read it to find out, I guess?

Finally Me (Rewrite)
Starts off just after Harry returns to the Dursleys for the summer after saving his godfather from a dementor's kiss. When Harry returned to the Dursleys he received a beating the first night back that was so bad that led to him seeing through all the Dark lord's memories. Around that same time, Sirius decides to share some information with Harry about his destiny. Along with sharing this information, he sends Harry the Potter family Grimoire and the Potter family amulet that was inside a trunk that his parent's made for Harry. After putting on the amulet Harry's looks change and all the blocks on him are destroyed. After being told his destiny and seeing through the Dark Lord's memories Harry starts reflecting on his life so far. As he reflects he can't help but wonder what his parents would think and say if they saw him. For years he had been pretending to be someone he was not, but now he finally had enough. He no longer would resend, Harry decides it is time to drop his mask completely and show who he really is completely. Now the real Harry is out and everything going to change. The Harry who returns to Hogwarts will not be the same one who left.

my first finished book. I started writing this, when I was in 8th grade, and I ended writing it at freshman year. Warning: most of the book was written, when I was at school, meaning some stuff wasn't really researched (or was it?). And it may or may not have a lot of mistakes. This fanfic is was posted earlier on ao3 (since ao3 is cheaper, you don't have to buy subscriptions + some stuff to read it). This book doesn't have graphic smut, but it does have violence! (and pure murder). Currently, I'm writing my second book, which is mainly focused on what happened when Janna was stuck on Planet Europa 5893x. It has more murder, violence, royal drama, and maybe some romantic relationships (the only non-toxic ship in the first book were two 11 year old boys). When I was writing this book, I thought: "if tweek and craig were two 10 year olds in a healthy mlm relationship, why can't I do the same thing, but with an skateboarding goth 11 year old and a broke trans 11 year old". warning: janna, nate walker, bad (horrible) parenting, crazy oc-lore, murder and violence, toxic relationships, (surprisingly) healthy relationships, mentions of multiple fandoms (as we read the book, since my oc-lore is literally a cross-over between fandoms + my own thing), 🏳️🌈people, swearing, mentions of drugs(idk much about them but my oc's a drug dealer-) + many other stuff I should've mentioned, but didn't mention, because I was too lazy-Concluida
