When I closed my eyes on that warm August night I never could have imagined that it was my last night on this earth. I never could have dreamt where I would next open my eyes.
Actually, I kinda did.

Emmy Carter was only ten years old when her older sister, Calie, died in a car crash. She then drew into herself, she couldn't bare to face the world. She wouldn't talk to her friends or even her parents, she became mute.
Three years later Emmy was diagnosed with brain cancer. She spent the next two years in and out of the hospital for treatments.
During this time, she had only one happiness, her dreams, where everything was perfect, no one yelled at her, no one was ever sick, and most importantly, Calie was there with her.
