~Prologue~

"Oops, i'm so sorry!" she said, dropping a can of tomatoes on someone's shoe in the middle of the grocery store. She pulled her hat even further down so nobody would notice who she was.
"It's alright" the man replied.
They both go to pick the can up at the same time, electric sparks shot through their bodies as their hands met.
"Sorry again" she said, taking the can and placing it back on the shelf. She hoped he'd leave her alone now.
"You better be careful, i might throw a can at your head if you do that again" he said.
He must've been joking.
She laughed slightly, humouring him. He was weird.
"I'll be careful sir" she said, re-adjusting her black Ray Bans.
"You better had, miss" he said, he looked at her again, really looking at her this time. "Perry.. Miss Perry.. Katy Perry" he said.
Oh no.
"Shh" she said.
"Don't tell me what to do" he said, with a strict and firm yet loveable tone. "I won't tell anyone, if you let me take you out for dinner.. Say.. tonight?" he said, in a way that didn't give her much choice.
"Oh, um, okay" she said, slightly stumbling over her words.
"Here's my card, it has my number on it, call me or text me when you get home" he said sharply. "See you" he added, walking off before she could answer.
She stared at him, unaware of him smirking to himself as he walks away. He was tall, he was dark, he was handsome. She liked that.
She looks at his card. His name is Carlos. Carlos Martinez.
