Gensokyo, a hidden land sealed away from the land of humans for centuries. It's a land ridden by evil and mischievous yokai. Usually it's taken care of by a maiden of the Hakurei shrine: Reimu Harkurei and sometimes her witch friend Marisa Kirisame. It's  routine really a yokai stirs up trouble and Reimu takes care of it. But one day it's not a yokai, but something much bigger. The border between the world of Gensokyo and the other worlds. Now Reimu and some others will be cast away to a foreign land. Filled with monsters, heros, and an awesome egg.

The girls have solved incidents before... but none a greater deal as one in the Outside World-or at least, another realm of the Outside World. Another universe. As the girls enroll in the school under cover, will they be able to resolve it all? Will this be far worse than those they've faced before? What is Yukari planning, and what is this world's relation to the land of Gensokyo? Will the boundaries of hope and despair suffice into proper balance? Which is reality and which is fantasy? But is that all there is their relationship? Or can something else blossom between these two that leads Reimu to find happiness within this strange being?

There is a politician, who desires to achieve greatness. A priest, who has a questionable mindset and intends. A military engineer, who is mostly incompetent in the military part but capable in the engineering one. An avarage soldier, who is trying to play the big hero. A simple janitor, who just wants to get back home and last but not least, a man. A man, who did not mention anything about him. Curious. Just what will happen to them? Will they survive past the first day? Will they be able to find the Human Village and settle upon a new life? Or will some of them get power hungry ideas, which might as well cause a new incident like no other? Only time can tell...
