The Heroine of Ireste

Anything involving a human and a Tomerian, one of the magic folk, to meet is illegal and is punishable by death. However, some have gone into hiding together and have been able to go undiscovered. However, there is good reason for it to be illegal. Any child born to a human and Tomerian would possess both qualities of a human and a Tomerian.
Aria Fandor is one of these children, although she does not know it. She has lived 15 years of her life in the dark over it, but she will soon have to face her birthright. After an attack on her village of Tona, Aria and her cousin travel to the only place they know will give them answers, but they will find much more than answers where they are going.
