I stand there looking at him through the reflection of the mirror, tears streaming down my face soothing my bruised eye. I hear the DJ blasting Eve-Love is Blind like it's a 2019 bop.  He grabs my shoulder to ask "Tymer how can you still believe he loves you?" That question shook me to the core and as if the DJ turned up the music all I could hear was Eve goin hard.
"She was in love and I'd ask her how? I mean why?
What kind of love from a nigga would black ya eye?
What kind of love from a nigga every night make you cry?
What kind of love from a nigga would make you wish he would die?"
