Shortly after vampires were discovered, they went to war with all humans, taking over the world, ruling all humans within it, some humans however refuse to be ruled by the vampires. Klaire is one of those humans, living in an abandoned house she is discovered, can she hide from the vampire Lords? Or worse, the head of all the vampires, the vampire king? Klaire is unlike most humans though, she is the chosen one, the one who can save the human race by taking down the King and the Lords with the sword that is magically bestowed upon her. Now that the vampires know of her existence, they all want her dead, will she survive? Will she succeed in taking down the vampires? Or will she be capture the love of a vampire and be captured by his love?
