Alec Lightwood has grown up in a shelter almost his whole life. He isn't well known at his school, and that means people won't notice anything suspicious about him. He is used to being unloved and depressed. Misunderstood and lost. The physical and mental abuse he goes through adds scars to his skin and his soul.
Magnus Bane is a popular young fashion designer. He has a YouTube channel, and has been featured on TV shows. He goes through the comments one day and finds a question he doesn't know the answer to.
