Her only hope was to get to Alba before the authorities could drag her back to Oscurita. The barking and growling got closer and her heart beated rapidly. She heard a rustle in the trees. It wasn't like the typical squirrel or bird, no, it was much heavier. She heard a whiz and looked up greeted with the sight of an arrow flying directly at her.
