"Can't... Stop... Running.." she whispered to herself as she ran through the dense forest. She could hear the dogs behind her barking and raging like the wild beasts that they were. Her only hope was to get to Alba before the authorities could drag her back to Oscurita. The barking and growling got closer and her heart beated rapidly. She heard a rustle in the trees. It wasn't like the typical squirrel or bird, no, it was much heavier. She heard a whiz and looked up greeted with the sight of an arrow flying directly at her.
