I've never had an easy life growing up. My parents were drug addicts and my baby sister and I had to fend for ourselves, our apartment was in no good condition, definitely not to live in. My sister hated going to school, she had only one friend. So she stayed home with our parents most of the time. I would go down to the lake early and wash myself but that was only when I went to school. We had to take what we can from the trash a lot, that is to survive hunger. But it was never until the day I lost my mother to an overdose of heroin that I knew what pain was. And my father was the more stable one, he may have never told me but I knew my father loved my sister and I. We just thought maybe this is how it's supposed to be maybe we'll get lucky or maybe we'll find a miracle. Completed April 26, 2019 Ranked #2 in lower-class
