Chasing 21 tells the story Elsie Greene, a biracial girl living in modern day Tennessee, and Nick Carson, the best football player in the south and the son of a predominate Ku Klux Klan family. From their first encounter as freshmen in high school, Elsie and Nick have been there for each other. During their junior year Nick finally gets the courage to make her his girlfriend.  

After being asked to meet Nick's parents, Elsie is faced with something she's never had to deal with before - racism. Will the perfect couple be broken apart by Elsie's tan skin and mixed heritage?
