The Solars are a group of rebels trying to take over the government, where Queen Salinde is not in control of her country. Ziemar is filled with poverty and war between the people. When one Solar named Caden gets lost after his bunk is attacked by the loyal soldiers of Queen Salinde, he stumbles upon a whole town of Solars with an underground safe haven.
