The HUNGER GAMES meets DUNGEONS & DRAGONS for a battle royale between mortals and monsters.

----

There's a monster in the high mountains of Hastone, one that must be slaughtered.

Every year the ruler of the lands, King Darren, holds a test for the best fighters to compete in. A test where these warriors must battle the monster's children, the dragon beasts. Many of them die fighting, but it's to prove who is eligible to slay the mighty monster.

Ladrel and her neighbor Eadward are just two of the "entrants" this year competing.

They're fighting to survive, not knowing their fate in the locked-up forest. The beasts are out and ready to kill in Darren's Game.

11 parts Ongoing Mature
There are the beating of wings, in the moonlit sky that tell a bleak and disturbing tale. The powerful Bladed Cross was stolen, on the cursed earth, where evil rules, merciless, and determined. Now, catastrophic events unfold under the nose of a near future society, when Owen Collins and the people he loves are thrown into a blood soaked conflict fate had tied them to since the events of the Biblical Testaments. A terrible, demonic force seeks to bring about the End of Days before the Comings of Christ. A force that no mortal could predict, no prophet had written of. A secret rebellion struggles to fight against the creature's sadistic wrath. And Yahweh's plan to prevent the extinction of his Children is more than just the inspiring leadership of a broken hero. Long ago, an Angel, from the Order of The Ninefold, gave birth to a child of their own. From that child, came her own offspring, seized by the Holy, and the Fallen alike. A power to be ripped from the Fallen. A quest to reclaim the pieces of the key, the key that is the Bladed Cross. To end a war meant to abolish faith, life and love. A war that drew our blood and very tears. Oh, Lord, give rise to the Guardians, to the broken who suffered this evil! The roaring of the dragons fills us with your Holy fire! Owen Collins, Sheriff of Red Leaf. His trusted, fearsome friend, Ted Walker. His ever gentle spouse, Chloe Collins. Molly Dillion, the fiercest of the Rebels. And Eli Griffin, the Failed Son! And many others whom the beating of wings would guide. Those who's love kills just as easily as hate. Death and cruelty are no strangers to the hearts of those who seek to protect God's Children from corruption.

Talos and Cyrus

28 parts Complete

War is coming... yet no one knows. The Deplorable festers in his anger, his rage newly ignited as one of his own suddenly betrays him, rocking him to his core. He seethes alone, waiting... For five hundred years, dragons and men have been isolated from each other, becoming mortal enemies after a bloody war tore apart their once peaceful alliance. They have spoken ill of each other ever since, the tales of their momentous battle warped by storytellers for generation upon generation. Cyrus leaves behind everything he's ever known, his family, his home, his village. He ventures out on his own with nothing more than a mangy old pack mule at his side. He dreams of wealth and riches, of stability and endless feasts, and he hopes to find work as he ventures out into the wilds of Crasmere. However, his plans take an abrupt turn when he is ambushed by monsters only found in one's deepest nightmares and, when he feels all hope is lost... something saves him. A creature no one has seen in five centuries. A creature many have presumed to have died long ago, gone extinct and wiped from the land all together. A creature said to thirst for blood and raw flesh, a beast with a roar to deafen all. A dragon.
