I looked up at the television. It was off. I grabbed the remote and turned it on.President Menelaus Snow's face showed up on the screen.
"Hello, citizens of Panem. I have the honour to pick out the theme for this year's Quarter Quell."
A young girl came up with a small velvety box. The President opened the box and chose one of the five folded-up papers inside. He unfolded the paper.
"For the 150th Hunger Games, the sixth Quarter Quell, there will be two minigames and then a final Game. For each minigame, there will be five tributes chosen, ages 10 to 20. The tributes will be placed in extremely different environments. One minigame in a prehistoric one, and one in a futuristic one.Only 12 tributes will make it out of each minigame. In the final Game, there will be one Victor. There will be surprises like never before. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favour."
The screen shut itself off, leaving me thinking that out of 120 children, there will only be one survivor...

All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. The Mockingjay Died: The Fourth Quarter Quell
When the laws of the Hunger Games were laid out, they dictated that every twenty-five years the anniversary would be marked by a Quarter Quell. It would call for a glorified version of the Games to make the fresh the memory of those killed by the districts' rebellion. Now we honor our fourth Quarter Quell. On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that the Dark Days only served to tear their families apart, each district will be required to send two sets of siblings. The new government that came with the rebellion Katniss started has been overthrown. President Snow's granddaughter is ruling Panem now, and she has proven to be more ruthless than he ever was. Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever. The 100th Annual Hunger Games
What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game. The final game will consist of the tributes that survived the first and second games. From there the tributes will battle until a lone victor remains. May the odds be ever in your favour...Concluída

Another Quarter Quell has arrived! This year, the Quell demands something that the Districts have never done... The first tribute reaped in each District has to choose who will be accompanying them in the Arena. However, the person they choose must still be eligible for the Games. Who will be reaped? Who will they choose as their District partner? What strange and exciting twists will the Arena hold this year? Who will win... *This book has nothing to do with my other Hunger Games book, The 125th Annual Hunger Games. It's just another Quell idea I had. BUT I would advise reading my other book first because there are a few spoilers mentioned in this book that have to do with The 125th Annual Hunger Games! ALSO, I'm sorry if someone has already used this idea or if you find something in it that's similar to your own book! Here in Panem, we are all depending on something, the Capitol depends on the twelve districts for goods, the districts depend on the Capitol for food and protection but also, the districts depend on each other. To highlight the fact that the districts of Panem are so dependent on each other, the tributes in this year’s Hunger Games will be randomly paired with one another. The pairs will be connected via a new Capitol invention that will mean when one of them dies, so does the other. This will mean that the pairs will have to protect each other, because their lives are in their partner’s hands and vice versa. As you may be wondering how this will affect the final outcome, I am very excited to announce that for the first time ever in Hunger Games history, two tributes will be able to win! Yes, you heard me correct. There will be two victors! You will all hear more about this after the Reapings have commenced, until then, I bid you all adieu.
