I looked up at the television. It was off. I grabbed the remote and turned it on.President Menelaus Snow's face showed up on the screen.
"Hello, citizens of Panem. I have the honour to pick out the theme for this year's Quarter Quell."
A young girl came up with a small velvety box. The President opened the box and chose one of the five folded-up papers inside. He unfolded the paper.
"For the 150th Hunger Games, the sixth Quarter Quell, there will be two minigames and then a final Game. For each minigame, there will be five tributes chosen, ages 10 to 20. The tributes will be placed in extremely different environments. One minigame in a prehistoric one, and one in a futuristic one.Only 12 tributes will make it out of each minigame. In the final Game, there will be one Victor. There will be surprises like never before. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favour."
The screen shut itself off, leaving me thinking that out of 120 children, there will only be one survivor...

Another Quarter Quell has arrived! This year, the Quell demands something that the Districts have never done... The first tribute reaped in each District has to choose who will be accompanying them in the Arena. However, the person they choose must still be eligible for the Games. Who will be reaped? Who will they choose as their District partner? What strange and exciting twists will the Arena hold this year? Who will win... *This book has nothing to do with my other Hunger Games book, The 125th Annual Hunger Games. It's just another Quell idea I had. BUT I would advise reading my other book first because there are a few spoilers mentioned in this book that have to do with The 125th Annual Hunger Games! The Fourth Olympics
We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years.
