Pete Torild has a lot of labels, and not many of them are considered "good" by most of society. Pete is not only diabetic, but he is also transgender, a psychic (in all the fun, talking-to-dead-things sort of ways), an uncontrollable time-traveler, and an amateur ghost hunter. Since almost everyone, including his therapist, is convinced he is schizophrenic and virtually insane, he really doesn't have a whole lot of friends that aren't from beyond the grave. But things do get interesting when he unintentionally gets involved in the local homicide case by communicating with the ghost of the victim. In the midst of all of this, he also has more and more time skips to an oddly specific point of the future where he encounters two kinds of people: The ones that want him to change the past so that he can save the future, and the ones that want to kill him because they fear they will cease to exist.

In a world divided into four groups, there is a role for everyone. Every group has their own realm found in each corner of the country they share. The top right corner has the largest population.
