Found abandoned in the Disappearing Fields at six years old, Haven Sky has always been the oddball out.  From the way her eyes alter colors to the natural ability of chasing people away, every thing about Haven is just weird.

5 months after attending a new school, 16 year old Haven finally makes a friend. The captain of her school's Track and Field team, Ezekiel. But somehow in the process of making a new friend, she gain several enemies all because of the rumours his ex girlfriend is spreading about her. Needing an escape from all the craziness going on in her life, she wanders into the Disappearing Fields and stumble upon an injured giant,  winged lizard and 2 year old boy clinging to him.

Kazimieras is one of the Fade, when he betrays Lord Irenaues, he becomes a target of retribution.  With a bounty on his head, he escapes to the Mortal world with his son Nicholas. Here he is weakened and left for dead. Here a mysterious girl finds them. Here is where everything goes to Hell. Here in the Disappearing Fields.

With enemies lurking at school, Assassins around the corner, and Spirits constantly telling her she's in danger, can Haven help her newfound friends  overcome the dangers that betrayal brings or will they become one of the thousands of people lost to the Disappearing Fields.
