As a young child, Hiro fails to save his childhood friend. After years of research and training, he breaks plenty of rules, hijacking one of the bedt Mechs and crash landing into an enemy base, all to do what he'd failed to do the first time.

This was written for GCSE coursework, and I've no idea if I'm actually allowed to post it. But I'm rather proud of it, and what's the worst that could happen?All Rights Reserved

For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. I don't want to spoil anything else, so you have to read the book to find out what happens!

Everything's chill at first, but then Tommy starts realizing the small things that his friend does. He notices the small, cute, unimportant details. And all of a sudden, Tommy realizes that he's developed feelings. He doesn't like it one bit, especially since there's one minor difference between the two.
