Louis and Harry have always felt more like friends than siblings. Together, they have stepped in for their unreliable, alcoholic mother to take care of their three younger siblings. There was a long moment where Harry didn't actually think Louis was going to answer; where he feared he would be sitting here forever, waiting for this boy to share with him what was so terrible that he was crying, borderline sobbing, on what might've been the most incredible night of Harry's life. And then he answered, and if it was even possible, Harry felt even sadder. "You're it, Harry. You're the best part of me. And I can't fucking leave. Not like this." in which harry and louis are inseparable trouble makers who think they have everything figured out, but as it turns out, they don't, and they have one summer left together until louis goes to university.

Louis had never wanted a relationship like this. Of course, he loved Harry - he loved the boy more than anything. And, at first, their relationship had been perfect. Harry was all gifts and hugs, small pecks on the lips, and amazing sex. But then, Harry had become possessive. Louis, at first, was flattered by how Harry wouldn't hesitate to but in when another bloke was talking to Louis, or how he would give someone a glare for eyeing Louis. Then it escalated. Louis didn't notice how bad it was getting until one night late at the club, when Harry had actually ended up knocking a guy out cold with a slam to the nose just for smacking Louis' bum. From there it only got worse. Harry deleted other guy's numbers from Louis' phone, forbade him from talking to some of his closest friends. Harry hadn't ever hurt Louis, he'd never do that. Louis finds himself out of place in LA, unable to get at an itch that’s been bothering him for years. He supposes back in the early days, home hadn’t been a place. It’d been a person. Harry worked at a subway station, wasting his life, too scared to follow his dreams. Every Thursday a girl with beautiful blue eyes took the 3.18 train. He always looked forward to seeing her. Maybe one that he would have built up the courage to ask her out? One Thursday a gang of teenagers knocked her off the platform and Harry immediately jumped the rail to rescue her. She hit her head and was unconscious. He followed her to the hospital and told them that he was her fiance. A little white lie could hurt, right? He just wanted to make sure she was okay. But then her whole family came and Harry found himself caught up in his lie. Her family was wonderful and he had been without his for so long. He just wanted to be a part of a family again even if it was just for a short while, at least until the girl woke up from her coma. Then her older brother walked in and yeah, now it would get really complicated. Louis was the most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on. Loosely based on the movie While you were sleeping. So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. The kids in Ireland bullied him for the way he dressed. In his new school Harry noticed a loner that everyone called Tommo. There was something familiar with the boy but Harry doesn't make the connection at first. Instead he tried to befriend the boy because he knew how it felt to be alone but Tommo wasn't interested in making friends. Purely fictional. Triggerwarning: weed smoking
