I got off the bus, just opposite the town hall and on the edge of a busy road. There were cars and passers by as far as I could see - clearly I had chosen the right place. I gazed around me until I spotted a shop that was empty inside, which I assumed meant it had been closed down, but it was time for me to put some life back in that place. I slowly walked over and place my guitar bag down on the floor and unzipping it. I pulled out my favourite shiny blue guitar pick and pulled the strap over my head, not taking my eyes of the many people who passed me. I stretched my fingers and put them into position along the fret board, took a deep breath, and began to play.
