Chapter 1
It was a normal day where eight friends were chatting to each other in a class. A girl with long, brown hair and brown eyes heard an explosion and so did the rest of her group. "What the fuck was that, Alison?", asked one of the boys in her group who wore glasses and had short brown hair. Alison looked at him. "I don't know, Masen... Do you know anything about an attack?" She asked a tall Mexican. "I don't know..." He replied. "Come on, Miguel. You got to know something about this." A girl with glasses and brown hair with blue eyes called out to them from across the room. A guy a little shorter than Miguel shrugged and just said, "We should just get the hell out of here, Alexa!" He called back over to her. Alexa shrugged. "Whatever, Gavin lets just go-" Gunshots cut off Alexa and she was shot in the leg. Alison gasped and ran to Alexa as she hit the floor. "I'm fine...." she muttered painfully. A guy with very short hair was about Masen's size. "Trent I want you to get some cloth and make sure Izzy and Maddie help!" Masen ordered and two girls nodded. They ran to get supplies and Alison looked out a crack that was in the wall. She saw patrol of people with guns and they came right where the door was that led into their room. The other door was kicked down by a man who was holding a gun. "Come with me if you want to live!" he said and they went with him down the hall. They found an empty class room and they went into it except Alexa and Gavin. "How can we trust you?" Demanded Alison in a dark tone. The man looked at her and said. "If I were one of them you'd be dead.. Now come on before they notic-" He was cut off as the patrol came. The whole group gasped as the patrol shut and locked the door. Alexa was taken and so was Gavin. The patrol threw a can of gas into the room as they closed the door and they threw Alexa and Gavin into separate rooms. There was a gas can in the two separate rooms also. Alexa and Gavin knew what they were.

He looks at her with annoyance in his eyes. "Well no fucking kidding." He says then he storms off to somewhere. Lexy gives me a 'I am going to kill you' look. "Kay how on earth do you manage to pee on someone without knowing- you know what never mind don't answer that question." She says with a very irritated expression on her face. We turn to leave but the buff man is back this time he looks more pissed than before. "I will send you the bill." He says as he gives Lexy a paper. But my stomach was turning and I felt like crap at this moment. I was too dizzy to see what they were doing at this point. My eye sight faded to black and I fell into a deep sleep." STORY REDONE- **Prologue** "Callie, no, don't!" His voice cracks with desperation as bullets scream past me, the room erupting in chaos. I catch sight of a masked figure darting toward a narrow exit, and without a second thought, I sprint after him, pushing through the acrid haze of gunpowder. The hallway stretches before me like a black void, illuminated only by sporadic flickers of malfunctioning lights. Each step I take echoes ominously, my senses on high alert. The heavy thud of my footsteps seems unnaturally loud in the oppressive silence that surrounds me. As I advance, a cold chill grips my spine, and an unsettling premonition takes hold. My instincts scream at me to stop, but the figure is just ahead, a tantalizing promise of answers within reach. I turn a corner, and everything changes in an instant. Without warning, a searing pain explodes at the base of my skull. I stagger, my vision blurring, as my legs buckle. The hallway spins, a whirl of darkness closing in around me. And then, **Darkness.** In the void, I drift, unmoored and disoriented. The silence is deafening, punctuated only by the echoes of my racing thoughts. The terror of what's to come grips me tighter than any physical pain. Each breath is labored, each heartbeat a reminder of the precarious edge I'm teetering on. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't.
