Your parents divorce meant a big change. You had to leave your childhood home for the summer to live with your mother's second cousin, Stanley Pines, (who was back from adventuring the world with his brother Stanford).
As soon as you got there you ended up lost. Eventually, a young boy, who introduced himself as Dipper Pines, found you wandering around and took you to the place you were looking for.
But all would not stay happy and joyous for long...
