Tom Wilson and the pendulum of souls (pendulum of soul saga book 1)

In near future humans find that elves, fairies and other mythical creatures exist. Then a war of supremacy takes place where they fought to dominate the other. The war is ending and nations have emerged where all these factions live peacefully. Tom Wilson is a young boy who finds that he is a human wizard and goes to train with his best friends in the school of magic. Here they learn about the five types of magic that exist and that a wizard is able to use only one of them though magical beings like elves, fairies, etc. also posses some extra magical powers that are passed down from their ancestors and also because of their very being. Here they find about a plot that threatens to plunder the world into chaos. Can Tom and his friends stop them before it is too late or will they be the reason for the start of a war that will doom them all.
