Earth in the year 2018 was evolving, becoming a dangerous place for the human population, and technology was the last answer. But what they had to do was to let go of a piece of their humanity. They had to replace their body parts with better, modern ones. Fake ones.

And if all else failed, and Earth would become a complete hazard to mankind, the Carriers were there. A whole new artificial world in space. The days went by and construction proceeded. At the moment, people began to have faith in themselves.

Then the outbreak happened.

They walked like they were the living dead, artificial arms and legs still twitching and sparking. They fed on each other and everyone else who wasn't infected yet. They had their brains, but not their thoughts. They became a part of the new Earth.

"We have no time for anymore disagreements or a plan B. Because every day, every second, our home is turning into something unknown."

Their first prototype was tested prematurely. It gave the human test subjects extreme speed and strength for 1 hour. They escaped and infected hundreds. The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world??
