Nicole Rose O'Brian and her best friend Rebecca head off to a new university on the other side of the country.
When they leave their small town in Ohio for bright and sunny Santa Monica California, Nicole hopes to leave all the sorrow and problems she's had to deal with in the past, including the biggest problems she's had to deal with, losing her parents, and living with this "curse" as she likes to call it.
Sadly, she is faced with another problem as she arrives at High York University, Sir Jerk-Faced Asshat (AKA Wes Hood)
Before they even meet, things were bad for Nicole, but as life at this new school continues, could Rebecca and Wes help her get rid of the pain of her past and maybe the curse?
