The figure-a woman, with hair made of snakes-raised scimitars dripping with poison above their chests. At the last second, she locked her eyes to his chocolatey brown ones and pushed him to safety. He rolled, once, twice, before laying flat on his belly. He reached out to her, pulling his black blade out and throwing it at the beast, but it wasn't enough.
