A rush of memories hit me all at once, and I gasp as I remember her swinging next to me, and then leaving one day with a look of disgust. My first friend. My first love. My first broken heart. We shared everything together, and we made each other lockets as a symbol of eternal friendship. Sure enough, there sits my locket.
