Alexandria Mason thought that the small town boy she loved would still love her after his band finally became famous.

She thought wrong.

Many years later she is one of the most famous musicians in Hollywood with her songs usually topping the charts. However no one actually knows who she is.

By going by the name Ria, refusing to have face-to-face interviews and always hiding her face in public, Alex manages to live a mostly private life away from the prying eyes of the media.

Her music is her life and she is considered to be one of the greatest musicians of her time. But she is not alone at the top of the charts and there is only one band that could possibly take her spot as number one.

Her main rival for the coveted spot at the top is non other the band that she cut out of her life and they are slowly getting sick of the mystery surrounding their competitor. To Midnight Rush's lead singer Malachi, Ria is a coward who refuses to show their face and a weasel that stole the fame he worked so hard to achieve.

Their labels have been competitors for years, but after a change in management at Alexandria's label the two studios have decided to set aside their differences and work together on a collaboration album. The heads of the two recording studios decided that some of their best artists would collaborate and record together, as a way of creating publicity not only for the companies but the artists too.

Secrets will be exposed, rivals will clash and, after so many years, lovers will meet again, wether they know it or not, and they will both learn that you shouldn't play with the heart of a rock star.
