Summer's life changes when her abusive boyfriend gets her pregnant and abandons her to fend for herself.  With the pain of her father kicking her out and calling her a whore, she learns to rely on no one.
 Two years later and still trying to survive in a forgotten office in the back of a store apart of a mall, with her two year old baby, she trys to keep up with school and work to make a better life for her baby, Angel. 

  Suddenly, something horrible happens when her hide-out is destroyed.  She takes her baby, and escapes to California, where she finds a cave by the beach, secluded from people and enrolls into a new school there. There, she meets a handsome boy, who is still trying to find his place but is intrigued by her eyes which hold the pain of a hard life. 

  The boy, Sean finds out about her baby, but does everything he can to help them survive. Will Summer finally trust someone enough to let them in and be apart of her life?
