At the age of 16, Summer has finally had enough of how her parents have treated her for all those years and decided it was time to start afresh by running away. With the help of her best friend Jordan, she manages to get away.
However, when Summer starts to settle down, weird things have been happening. Every night she dreams of a boy in the woods and feels an electric current go through her for some odd reason.
Things maybe difficult for Summer right now but soon her world will turn upside down with the events that will soon take place. The question is thought, is this a good or bad thing?
