After Natsu is struck by a mysterious spell on a mission something strange happens...he turns into a dragon. But not your normal dragon a baby one. Only thing is no one knows that this mysterious dragon is Natsu and he has no way to communicate with them. Worse of all somewhere along the road he became Lucy's pet dragon?!
HTTYDS has been in progress since 2015 and was originally published during 2016. Now it is completed! The writing gradually improves over time so stick around until the end.

Natsu Dragneel is 17 years old, he is in his final year at Fairy Tail High. Natsu is closed off, detached, rude and generally doesn't like being around people. He refuses to let anyone else in except those he couldn't shut out. There's a new transfer student and he just can't seem to get rid of her and he's not sure if he's annoyed or happy with her presence. Lucy moves to Magnolia transferring to Fairy Tail High hoping to get a fresh start after the last few rough years. She makes some fast friends who she seems to treat like family, she even reunites with a family member she hadn't seen in years. However she also bumps into the coldest man she's every met and something about him just seems off and maybe nostalgic. It's confusing, along with frustrating and it seemed like whatever she was running from was trying to catch up to her. The two teens both feel so lost, like they just don't know what to do anymore. Natsu feels broken and unworthy of anything, he doesn't even know why he's still alive somedays. Lucy is terrified and stressed keeping so many secrets sometimes she doesn't even know what's real anymore knowing that pretending to be happy doesn't make her so. Ever wish Lucy were more angry with Natsu once he returned? The fight on Tartaros is over, and Fairy Tail won the war. With Tartaros gone, the Black Wizard Zeref's demons destroyed, peace was restored to the world. But at what cost? The guild has disbanded, and everyone has gone their separate ways. Many wizards retired, others found work elsewhere, some joined new guilds, and the rest mourned what was lost. Lucy, seeming lost, at least found solace knowing that even without the guild and everyone else, she still had Natsu and Happy to keep the happy memories going, and the job posters moving.
