She molded me into a different person. She brought out the side of me I've been trying to hide for years.

She makes me feel so powerful, yet so vulnerable. My emotions and thoughts ran wild when I was with her. I couldn't control my actions anymore.

Something about her drew me in closer. She was special and unique, different than any girl I've ever met.

She stole my heart, and I wanted to stay with her for eternity. She's the only one I love.

The only reason I keep living.

❝Alia, I wanna try again. You and me. I've been thinking about you crazy and if we don't date I might just bust a gut.❞ ❝Well I don't want you to hurt yourself.❞ Alia smirked, leaning in. Alia Mendoza was Jesus's first real love-bright, artistic, and full of fire. But just as their connection began to deepen, Alia was abruptly pulled out of his life when her conservative parents forced her to move away, fearing her growing bond with the Foster family and Jesus's influence. What they didn't know was that the two never really stopped talking. For months, Jesus and Alia have secretly stayed in touch through late-night phone calls, private texts, and heartfelt video chats. So when Alia suddenly returns to town for her sophomore year-enrolling at Anchor Beach-Jesus sees it as their second chance. He's ready to pick up where they left off, only this time, he's determined to make it real: no more sneaking around, no more hiding. But love the second time around isn't so simple. Alia's home life is still tense, and her parents have strict expectations. Jesus is still recovering from his traumatic brain injury, struggling with impulse control, anger, and frustration-things he tries to hide from her. Mariana is suspicious, Stef and Lena are cautious, and Emma isn't exactly thrilled that Alia's back in the picture. As the past crashes into the present, Jesus and Alia must decide if their love can survive the complications that drove them apart in the first place. Can they build something lasting-or is this reunion just a beautiful mistake?
