Seventeen-year-old Aria Madsyn is ecstatic when she receives a letter regarding Prince Caedon's Selection. She does not enter for the Prince, but for the experience of being in the palace. The food, the art, the gowns and so much more await Aria if she were selected. Despite being one girl out of the thousands who are entering, Aria can't help but hope that that odds will be in her favor.

"Are you... lost?" Someone asked, her tone impatient. I stopped scanning the room to find the woman behind the voice. I blinked. She had the most luminous blue eyes I had ever seen.
