They were everything to each other - until five years of silence turned them into strangers. Kylie was the loud one. Confident, bold, always the center of attention - the kind of girl who didn't just light up a room, she owned it. Malia was the rule-follower. Straight-A student, student council darling, a walking checklist with perfect grades and perfect posture. They grew up side by side. Two halves of a whole. Sleepovers, matching bracelets, secrets whispered under blankets. Until something happened. Until everything changed. Until they stopped talking - and didn't speak for five years. Now? They've been assigned to plan prom together. Just their luck. Worse: it's a full-blown Disney-themed prom, glitter and drama included. They can't stand each other. They don't trust each other. And yet... The more time they spend together, the more the past creeps in. The glances. The tension. The memories. The what-ifs. Because maybe, just maybe... Their friendship was never just friendship. And maybe first love is the kind you didn't see coming - until it's standing right in front of you with a clipboard, a prom playlist, and a broken heart.
