Leafsong, the Chosen Warrior and a warrior of ThunderClan, looks back on her decision of forcing Swiftclaw, a former warrior of WindClan, and wonders whether it was a good idea or not. Guilt begins to claw at her as she reveals the truth to one of her former close friends, who in turn turns against her and everything she stands for.

Along with the wavering friendship, Leafsong begins to feel that her ancestors in StarClan no longer care for her. Without the faith in StarClan to be with her, will Leafsong still be able to fight the dangers that lurk both in the waking world and her dreams?
