It's about how she was different to everyone and was always trying to fit in but realises that it's good to be different, to just be herself and not let anyone try and rule her life and tell her how she should act and behave around others. It's about how she took control over her life and made it the best that she could, while trying to overcome bad problems and habits and staying strong when everything seemed to fail.
