Like everyone else, Tristan Ashby is an average girl with relationship issues. 

The thing that makes her stand out is the fact her older brother is Alan Ashby, a member of the band Of Mice and Men, one of her best friends is the band's most desired member Austin Carlile, and the fact that she has his attention in ways she's never dreamed of. Since Tristan has been oblivious about how he feels for years, she settled with a drunk named Max from a band called Unpleasant Burial. When the two finally break up, Austin starts dropping hints that she can't ignore, but as soon as something begins for them, Max makes it known that he isn't ready to let go of her.
