This short story needed to include a conflict-In this case inner conflict- And can be, or not be resolved. The story is about a depressed teen who is considering suicide.

So this is my first time writing an actual story ok so give me some credit, also it's based off a person's real life experience they have me permission to write about it, and it's a story about a male nurse at a mental hospital who falls in love with a patient of theirs who isn't mental but was sent their because she tried to end her life cuz she was depressed and had old trauma. This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" (#2 findingeachother 20/10/2018) --WARNING-- This story contains strong opinions over depression, suicide, and a life in general if you are easily offended please do not read this thank you, I love you.
