Jack Anderson doesn't believe in monsters.

The beast doesn't believe in feelings.

Cassidy York doesn't believe in true love.

Roy (Hulk) Wichaticka doesn't believe in lying.

Before the crazy events in their eighth grade year, these characters probably didn't even know each other existed. But when they find themselves in what seems to be a werewolf fan fiction, complete with a gruesome death, each character must examine their beliefs and ask themselves:

"Is the world we live in just an enormous trick? Do we even exist? Does anything exist? Does anything I believe in make any sense at all? And why in the world aren't you wearing your shirt?!"
