Nathaniel Jane. Wing man, best friend and family to the notorious player Ryder Pierce. lost in his own world he is oblivious to most of the attention he receives whilst remaining entirely capable of getting what he wants, when he wants.

 Living with his uncle and aunt as well as his cousins who he now considers his brother and sister, he has moved to a tiny little town by the coast. After leaving the life of luxury he now works with his grandmother in a small worn secluded book store as a distraction from the mundane idiocy of the popular. 

Used to living a boisterous lifestyle, he is now keeping his head down and trying to forget what he left behind. Though the nightmares that torment him leave him looking sullen and dark making it difficult. As he wakes every morning he is given a constant reminder of what he has seen- the scar running across his neck serves as a cold hard link to that night so he is always coupled with a hoodie and RayBan to disguise his anguish.  

He always stays distant and detached, shutting everyone out. That is until her.

Hope Parker is the most unlikely character to capture and hold Nate's attention. He struggles to figure out what she means to him, whether she is just an insignificant annoying girl or perhaps something more. Whether she will  be the one to spark light in his gloomy heart.

This is a little tale of two insignificant people who might have something great together. That is if they go against all there boundaries and defenses they have put in place. Seeing beyond what the eyes foretells and looking deeper into the hearts of each other seeing more than that could have imagined. That's just it they never knew what fate had installed for them, that they would have to fight for that potential of something great together.

Life is too short to be anything but ordinary. That being said, I learned how to play the guitar one day and wrote songs about love. My guitar skills maybe limited but I had so much fond memories that the callous on my fingers made a good souvenir on that musical stage in my life.
